Food Distribution Program

About


The Osage Nation Food Distribution Program on Indian Reservations (ONFDPIR) provides nutritious food packages to low-income Native American households living on The Osage Nation reservation. The program is administered at the Federal level by the Food and Nutrition Service (FNS), an agency of the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). USDA purchases and ships food products to the Osage Nation FDP based on orders from a list of available foods on-line. The ONFDP store and distribute the food, determine applicant eligibility, and provide nutrition education to recipients.

Hours of operation: Monday through Friday 9:30 - 11:30 a.m. and 1-3:30 p.m. We are closed the last two (2) days of each month to perform inventory and reporting.

FDPIR is authorized under Section 4(b) of the Food Stamp Act of 1977, and Section 4(a) of the Agriculture and Consumer Protection Act of 1973.  Federal regulations governing the program can be found at 7 CFR Parts 250, 253 and 254. ONFDP is located in the Osage Nation Industrial Park, 3 miles north of Hominy. Any questions about the program can be submitted to onfdp@osagenation-nsn.gov or to our fax number at 918-287-5579.
