How to apply

You can apply online, or you can download and return a paper application. Due to COVID-19, please try and submit your application remotely and avoid in-person submissions.

Online Application

The quickest and easiest way to apply is by using the online application form. You can also come into the Welcome Center at 239 W. 12th Pawhuska, OK, 74056, and one of our staff will help you complete the online application form. Face coverings are required.

Print Application

Download, print, and complete the paper application form. Mail your completed application to Osage ARP Cash Assistance 4 Main Street Peterborough, NH 03458 or drop into our dropbox at Osage Nation Welcome Center, 239 W. 12th Street, Pawhuska, OK 74056. Alternatively, you can email your completed application to @email.

What to expect after applying

Due to the extremely high volume of applications, please be aware of the process and timelines:

  • A third-party Program Administrator will process applications as they are received.
  • A letter will be emailed to you after 10 business days
  • The third-party Program Administrator has 30 days to issue assistance

What is ARP Cash Assistance and how do I qualify?

The Osage Nation is providing cash assistance to enrolled members of the Osage Nation that have experienced a negative economic impact because of the COVID-19 Public Health Emergency. To qualify, you must complete and submit an application and indicate how you will apply the funds.


How much is the assistance?

Up to $2,000 per enrolled Member of the Osage Nation.

When will I know if my application is approved?

Up to ten (10) business days.


Is this assistance taxable income?

The Osage Nation is not treating these payments as taxable income. Consult with your own attorney or tax advisor for guidance. The Osage Nation has designed this program to meet the definition of a “qualified disaster relief payment” as defined by IRS code 26 USC Section 139(b) and to meet the tax exempt status of an “Indian general welfare benefit” as defined by 26 USC Section 139E(b).


Can I receive my assistance directly deposited into my bank account?

No, cash assistance will be in the form of a paper check, mailed to the address within the application.


Can I select more than one impact from COVID-19?

Yes, please check all that apply and add any impacts that are not listed.


Do I need to submit any additional information with my application?

No, you do not need to submit additional information with your application. However you should retain any documentation to prove your loss of income, increase in expenditures, or negative economic impact.


Can I apply for my relatives/grandchildren?

If you are applying on behalf of a minor child and you are not listed as a biological parent of the minor child in the Osage Nation membership files, you must provide legal proof of custody or guardianship. By submitting the application, you are certifying that you are legally entitled to receive the assistance on your behalf, or on behalf of a minor child.


When can I expect to receive the assistance payment?

You can expect to receive your assistance payment within 30 calendar days of the approval notice.
