Osage Nation Crisis Assistance Program Increases to $2,000 Nationwide

NOTICE: The Osage Nation Crisis Assistance Program makes payments directly to vendors, not applicants, to alleviate your crisis.

OSAGE NATION SERVICE AREA, OKLA. (December 15, 2022) – The Osage Nation Financial Assistance Department is aware of the extreme hardships many Osage families are currently facing. In response, the Osage Nation Crisis Assistance Program has increased to $2,000 for the 2023 fiscal year (Oct. 1, 2022 – Sept. 30, 2023). The previous amount available was $1,000. Applicants who have already received assistance up to $1,000 in fiscal year 2023 (Oct. 1, 2022 – Sept. 30, 2023) are now eligible to request an additional up to $1,000 for a total of $2,000 assistance for the 2023 fiscal year. 

“We hear our Osage constituents in their time of need and are thankful to increase the crisis assistance,” said Osage Nation Financial Assistance Director Andrea Kemble. “This assistance will allow our people to cover essential needs. Our team is ready to help!”

The Osage Nation Crisis Assistance Program assists enrolled Osage Nation members in alleviating crisis situations beyond financial control. The service area is the United States. Assistance is available to address the following crisis situations: 

  • Homelessness or Threat of Homelessness
  • Unsafe/Unsanitary Living Conditions
  • Fire/Natural Disaster
  • Major Car Repair
  • Family Emergency 

Eligibility requirements include:  

  •  Completed Crisis Assistance application with support documentation 

●    Current and valid enrollment with the Osage Nation Membership Department
