Back to school time is heading our way! Osage Nation has a variety of resources for students and parents to support academic success. Please review the list below and make a plan to kick off the new academic year with a plan to accomplish your goals. 

Nationwide Academic Tutoring Program (NATP) – This program offers nationwide help for Osage students with at-risk needs (Pre-K-12):  Application

Johnson  O’Malley (JOM) – This program provides supplementary financial assistance to meet the unique and specialized needs of American Indian students enrolled in one of the public schools served by the Osage Nation. Parents of new students need to submit their student application form and copy of tribal membership card/document to Avis Ballard, JOM Coordinator, electronically (aballard@osagenation-nsn.gov) or through mail (PO Box 250 in Hominy 74035). This also includes students who recently moved to a new school within Osage county.

Osage Nation School Support Program (ONSSP) – This program provides academic services to legally enrolled members of the Osage Nation (Pre-K-12). A tribal education advocate will monitor students’ grades and attendance, obtain tutoring if needed, and help the student navigate through the college search.  This applies to students who attend a public or private school within Osage County: Application

Oscar H. Hope Youth Scholarship – This Scholarship is awarded to Osage students nationwide during the academic year.  To qualify students must be enrolled in kindergarten through 12th grade with a minimum GPA of 3.0: Application
