Osage Nation Receives $13.9 Million USDA ReConnect Broadband Grant

OSAGE RESERVATION, OKLA. (September 7, 2022) – The Osage Nation (ON) was awarded $13.9 million grant from the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and ReConnect Grant Program on August 30, 2022. The ON plans to use the funds for the construction of a fiber-to-the-home network capability, offering symmetrical broadband speeds of up to one gigabit per second. The ReConnect Grant Program
Osage Nation receives $27,500 for Red Cross Tornado Grant
In May, the following release came out and is now being published a second time with some revisions. The purpose is to locate any Osage families still living in Moore, Oklahoma and the surrounding area and were there at the time of the May 20, 2013 tornado. The American Red Cross is providing a reimbursement type grant to the Osage Nation for those families to be used towards purchasing a storm
