Julie Malone

Julie A. Malone is a proud enrolled member of the Osage Nation.  She has more than sixteen years in the gaming industry.  She worked in Lake Tahoe for Harrah’s and Del Webb’s Sahara in 1970-1974 as a Blackjack and Roulette Wheel Dealer.  She then married a Professional Numismatist, and opened a rare coin business in Beverly Hills and Napa, Malone’s Rare Coin Co.  Mr. Malone died, and in 1988, Julie began a new career in financial planning.  She worked for the same company over 16 years (AIG).  She worked as a Registered Representative and Financial Advisor until 2004, when the Osage Tribe approached her to come to work as a Shift Manager and assist in the construction oversight, employee hiring, and opening of our Sand Springs casino, the Million Dollar Elm Casino.  After eight months in Sand Springs, she was then offered the position of Regional General Manager to oversee the northern region casinos, Hominy (soon to expand), Pawhuska, and yet-to-be-built Bartlesville.  Her position was eliminated, and in 2007 she began working for Creek Nation Casino in Tulsa.  She retired from River Spirit Casino as a Manager on Duty in 2016 after nearly ten years, participating in a very large and successful expansion.  Julie is the Treasurer of the Osage Shareholders Association.  She brings a diverse and relevant background to the Osage Nation Gaming Enterprise Board and looks forward to contributing to the development of this important revenue source for the Osage Nation.
