Our mission is to create a caring and nurturing learning environment which will develop the whole child: socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically; and to encourage our children to become self-confident, enthusiastic lifelong learners.
Early Learning Academies (WELA) provide a comprehensive child development program that promotes and encourages individual growth and development of young children, aged 6 weeks to five years. Services are provided in several areas including health, education, social services, parent involvement, family literacy, Osage language and culture, and services for special needs children and their families. Tuition rates for WELA can be found by clicking the link below to our Parent Handbook. Our Academies are located in Pawhuska, Hominy, Skiatook and Fairfax. Operating hours are from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
To enroll your child in Early Learning Academy please complete the Application found below. Applications may be hand-delivered or mailed to any of our four locations.
All WELA Parent/Guardians are eligible for Osage Language Fee Waiver. Please see page 13 of the Parent Handbook for more information.
The Osage Nation Child Care Program provides low-income Native American families with child care assistance. Early Learning Academy Administration encourages the resolution of issues on an informal basis whenever possible. However, if it is not possible, a formal grievance may be filed by completing the following form.
