OSAGE NATION RESERVATION, OKLA. (January 12, 2026) — Following two successful years, the Osage Nation Education Department (ONED) is now accepting applications for the third cohort of its PathFinder Program. This innovative initiative blends the Osage Nation’s rich cultural history with cutting-edge aviation training to help cultivate the next generation of Osage leaders in aviation, aerospace, and STEM-related fields.

The Osage Nation PathFinder Program addresses the growing demand for STEM professionals through strategic partnerships with aviation industry leader Riverside Flight Center. Training takes place at Riverside Flight Center in Jenks, Okla., providing participants with hands-on, industry-aligned experience. Applicants must be able to commit to the 14-month program based in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The program is funded through the Osage Nation Education Department’s Career Training Scholarship, eliminating financial barriers for qualified participants. Through the PathFinder Program, participants gain technical proficiency in applying STEM principles to aerospace systems and receive all required Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) certifications to fly and instruct both manned and unmanned aircraft for commercial purposes.
