Osage Nation Emergency Notification System (ONENS)

Earlier this year Osage Nation Emergency Management in conjunction with Osage Nation Police Department and Information Technology Department launched a new emergency notification system powered by Regroup, Osage Nation Emergency Notification System (ONENS).

This notification system provides automated alerts to subscribers in the event an emergency situation develops that could impact them. Alerts are sent out via email, text message and text to voice messages to subscribers providing them with information relating to the event. This service is being provided free of charge to anyone that chooses to enroll*. Enrollment is easy with an on-line sign up (available on the Emergency Management Web Page) and the service can be cancelled at any time. Although this service is directed at residents of Osage County Oklahoma, anyone can enroll and residents of areas bordering Osage County will find the alerts especially useful.

ONENS will provide the residents of Osage County with another means of communication and warning in the event of an emergency. The system will be utilized to provide notice of weather related events such as tornados, severe thunderstorms, and ice/snow warnings. The service will also be used to notify areas that may be impacted by wildfire, flooding or road closures.

Osage Nation is pleased to be able to offer this new service to our members, constituents and to the general public. It is our goal to do our best to help keep everyone informed and safe whenever an emergency situation arises. If you have any questions concerning enrollment, please contact a member of any of the departments listed below.
