HEALTH CAREER SUMMER PROGRAM
March 9, 2018
Pawhuska – The Osage Nation announces a Health Career Summer Program opportunity for High School students, grades 11 & 12. Six positions are available for a four week rotation with all of the Health programs within the Osage Nation.
The Division hopes to encourage students to pursue Health Careers with the hope that interested Osage students will return and work for Osage people in our health system. There is a shortage in all fields of healthcare within the Osage Nation for Osages. The more Osages that occupy positions within our health system the more stable our workforce with improvement in quality of care. The Osage Nation Congress appropriated the necessary funds for this program with the hope that our Osage Healthcare workforce will be strengthened in the future.
