The Osage Nation Education Department has a mission to provide services to enrolled Osage members to aid them in obtaining skills needed to become productive individuals and contributors to their community. This is achieved through tribal- and federally-funded educational and training programs.

So with the holidays quickly approaching, interested individuals or current students need to keep in mind the application deadlines for ON Higher Education Scholarships: Quarterly session is December 15th and Semester session is December 31st.

Applications along with requirement and compliance information are available at the tribe’s website www.osagenation-nsn.gov as well as other information regarding educational support. The Osage Nation assists with college fees, certification and licensing, tutoring, and internship/externship programs. Federal-funding aids the Johnson O’Malley program, classroom training, supportive and career services, and the summer youth work experience which are open to all eligible Native Americans residing within the Nation’s service area of Osage County.

The Osage Nation offers funding to help minimize or alleviate the financial responsibility of the student; however, seeking other financial support is encouraged. One may request information directly from the educational department by calling toll free 1-800-390-6724.
