Fingerweaving!
Begin or advance your finger weaving skills! This braiding technique is traditionally used in Osage culture to form wide flat pieces, such as, belts and bags. No loom required; the fingers alone manipulate the threads to form a dense fabric. Participants will receive instruction and support to continue their skills, with emphasis on identifying, correcting and avoiding mistakes. Supplies will be provided. (Classroom Limit: 8 Students)
