Osage Language Mobile Apps
Osage Nation currently offers two exciting mobile applications for you to use in your language learning endeavors: Wahzhazhe and Sonny Goes to School. Both apps are available on Google and Apple app stores. Detailed installation instructions can be found below.
Wahzhazhe
Wahzhazhe is designed for all ages. It features more than 500 phrases and words, has games and quizzes available, and has a searchable database.
How to download the WahZhaZhe app to Android and Apple devices:
- Connect your Android or Apple device to WiFi
- Download the app from your respective app store:
The application requires a WiFi connection as it is quite large. After it has downloaded to your device it will not require a data connection unless an update is required.
Sonny Goes to School
Sonny Goes to School is a fun, easy-to-use app, where you spend the day with Sonny and his family in their Osage-language only world. You'll hear the language spoken in an Osage home, school, playground, dinner and much more. Little Sonny even dreams in Osage.
How to download the Sonny Goes to School app to Android and Apple devices:
