OSAGE NATION RESERVATION, OKLA. (April 24, 2024)—The Osage Nation is streamlining the application process for numerous assistance programs by utilizing an online service portal currently available on the Osage Nation website. Osage Nation constituents can register for free and establish an account that will serve as a hub for application submissions, tracking, and approvals for assistance services offered by the Osage Nation.

The Osage Nation Online Service Portal is a user-friendly web-based system designed to streamline access to essential services. Developed during the pandemic, when face-to-face interactions were challenging, this portal bridges the gap between citizens and government departments.

“This platform is a one-stop-shop for users,” Director of Information Technology Bill Fenton says. “More than 1,000 user accounts have already been established by Osage members, and more than 3,000 applications have been processed through the service portal, demonstrating the platform’s effectiveness in handling a high volume of requests.”

The platform's first two programs include the Burial Assistance Program, which provides financial assistance upon the death of an Osage Nation member, and the School Assistance Program, which provides financial help to Osage families for school clothing, supplies, and technology. After a successful soft launch, the portal now includes the Career Training Scholarship. In the coming months, additional programs will continue to be upgraded to the Service Portal, including Tax vehicle tags and Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).

The Osage Nation partnered with Osage-owned Dailey Technologies, LLC, to create the technological advancement aimed at removing hurdles and streamlining access: “We are proud to contribute to the Osage Nation’s progress by creating a digital gateway that empowers citizens,” said Amos Dailey, President of Dailey Technologies LLC. “Our team’s commitment to excellence and innovation has resulted in a service portal that will enhance the lives of our community members.”

The service portal's funding originated with Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) support and has continued development thanks to support from The American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) of 2021.

Osage Nation members can register for a free account on the service portal at https://portal.osagenation-nsn.gov/. The portal offers contact information for questions about services or for help with applications.
