How can I make a cash donation?

You can make a cash donation through our giving website at www.osagenation-nsn.gov/waystogive

Or you can give by mail, by writing a check payable to Osage Nation and sending to Osage Nation, ATTN: Treasurer, 1071 Grandview Ave, Pawhuska, OK 74056

Can non-US residents donate to the Osage Nation?

Non-US residents are welcome to donate. However, tax implications may vary based on the donor's country of residence. It's advisable to consult with a local tax expert regarding the deductibility of donations for income tax purposes to a U.S. federally recognized tribe.

Do you accept matching gifts from employers?

The Osage Nation welcomes matching gifts. If your employer has a matching gift program, please coordinate with the Administrative Assistant to the Treasurer to facilitate the process.

How can I make a donation in someone's honor?

Answer: You can honor someone by making a gift in their name via mail. Submit a donation to the Osage Nation, ATTN: Treasurer, 1071 Grandview Ave, Pawhuska, OK 74056, and attach your check, stating the honoree's name and address, and we will mail the acknowledgements, accordingly.

Can I specify where my donation goes within the Osage Nation?

Yes, the Nation offers priority projects as options to give and you may choose what best aligns with your intentions.

Are my donations tax-deductible?

Will I receive an acknowledgment for my donation?

Yes, following your donation, an acknowledgment letter detailing the donation particulars will be provided, signed by the Principal Chief, will be mailed to you for your records. Additionally, if you make an online donation, you will receive an auto-generated receipt for your records, which you can retain as proof of your contribution.

What should I do if I lose my auto-generated receipt for my online donation?

When you make an online donation, you will receive an automated receipt for your records. If you happen to misplace or lose this receipt and need a replacement copy, please don't hesitate to request one. You can do so by reaching out to our team at donations@osagenation-nsn.gov. We are here to assist you in obtaining a duplicate receipt to ensure you have the necessary documentation for your records and tax-related considerations. Your satisfaction and ease of access to your donation records are important to us.

What benefits does a federally recognized tribe offer to donors?
