General Description
The Osage Nation will receive qualifications for Field Inspector services for managing duties related to the Orphaned Well Plugging Program.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Conducts routine field inspections to locate orphaned wells.
- Monitors work performed by contractors on orphaned wells.
- Monitors work performed by contractors on remediation of soil and or water bodies.
- Responsible for the monitoring, reviewing, interpreting, and administering federal and Tribal regulations and policies as they pertain to orphaned well matters.
- Conducts field monitoring projects including the collection of physical science or life science samples for testing and analysis.
- Conducts field investigations using state-of-the-art technology including GPS and media-specific instruments.
- Submit all necessary changes for Owner review and approval.
- Provide summarized field activity reports and suggested changes on a weekly basis for the Owner to review.
- Familiarity of Osage language and culture.
- Performs other duties as required.
