Five Years After Discovering Unused Land Owned by the Osage Nation, Bird Creek Farms Now Delivers Farm-to-Plate Produce to Traditional Feasts, Elders, and Children

Pawhuska, Okla., Osage Reservation (Friday, August 17, 2018) –Five years ago, land already owned by the Osage Nation was revealed during an audit of ON assets. Today, this land is a seed for change and Osage and Native American elders and children on the Osage Reservation are already reaping the benefits.

The 10th Annual Wahzhazhe Cultural Encampment 

Registration begins Aug. 20, 2018. The registration deadline is Sept. 21, 2018. 

Registration Information & Packet

Some of the guidelines include: 

  • In order to register you must be Osage 
  • Non-Osage parents, spouses, and significant others are encouraged to participate as guests of a registered Osage member
  • Children under the age of eighteen (18) must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian
  • You must agree to complete the orientation and training the morning the adventure begins 
  • Absolutely, no drugs or alcohol will be allowed during the event
  • No onsite registrations will be accepted
