(4/10/2018) - On Saturday, April 7th, 2018 twenty-six youth participants along with eight adult chaperones took a cultural enrichment fieldtrip to the Sam Noble Museum in Norman, OK to attend “Fluent Generations: The Art of Anita, Tom and Yatika Fields” exhibition. The special outing was organized by the Osage Nation Museum, Wahzhazhe Cultural Center, Osage Nation Child Care Department and Osage Nation Prevention Program.

PAWHUSKA, Okla. (Thursday April 12, 2018) – Local Fairfax man Charles “Taos” Barrone (Osage) was selected to receive the Outstanding Participant Award- 477 at this year’s National Indian and Native American Employment and Training Ceremony (NINAETC).
Pawhuska, Okla. (4/9/2018) – The American Alliance of Museums (AAM), the only organization representing the entire scope of the museum community, announced today that Hallie Winter, curator at the Osage Nation Museum (ONM) in Pawhuska, OK, is the recipient of the 2018 Nancy Hanks Memorial Award for Professional Excellence, honoring a museum professional with less than 10 years’ experience in the field.
Pawhuska, Okla. (2/16/2018) – The Osage Nation Museum (ONM) and Osage Teaching Artist Addie Roanhorse will be conducting a Monotype Printmaking Workshop in conjunction with the Traditional Values/Contemporary Vision: Works by Gina Gray exhibition on Saturday March 3rd, 2018 from 12:00-4:00pm. This workshop is free and open to the public of all ages. No prior experience is necessary.
Unveiling and Reception Set for Sept. 28
Pawhuska, Okla. (8/25/2017) –The Osage Nation Museum (ONM) will be holding an opening reception on Thursday, September 28th from 4:00-6:00pm for the unveiling of their next exhibition. The latest exhibition, Traditional Values/Contemporary Vision; Works by Gina Gray will run through March 31st, 2018 at ONM.
Pawhuska, Okla. (08/24/2017) – The Osage Nation Museum (ONM) and the Osage Nation Prevention Program (ONPP) are pleased to host the second in a series of four outdoor fun nights. A Night at the Museum: Outdoor Movie Series will continue on Friday, September 1st beginning at sundown (8:00 PM– 8:30 PM). The featured film is the Disney’s, “The Jungle Book,” a fun filled adventure that will entertain adults and children alike.
Pawhuska, Okla. (6/29/2017) – The Osage Nation Museum (ONM) and the WahZhaZhi Cultural Center will be hosting a book signing and reading of The Night Life on Thursday, July 6th, 2017 from 5 pm to 7 pm at the ONM in Pawhuska. The book is a collection of poetry by Elise Paschen (Osage). Russ Tall Chief (Osage) is the invited guest speaker. Tall Chief is the Director of Student Engagement, Inclusion, and Multicultural Programs at Oklahoma City University.
