Oklahoma Native American Youth Language Fair

The 2018 Oklahoma Native American Youth Language Fair (ONAYLF) will be held on April 2-3, 2018. Teachers, parents and elders are invited to enter their students in the Fair. Click here for the 2018 ONAYLF invitation letter.

The theme for the 2018 ONAYLF Poster Art category is “Dreaming In My Language.”

New In 2017

We are pleased to announce that because of the Sam Noble Museum’s longstanding work with the Oklahoma Native American Youth Language Fair, the museum received the 2017 University Museums and Collections Award from the International Council of Museums! ONAYLF Program Director, Dan Swan, accepted the award in September 2017 in Helsinki, Finland.

Osage Nation Sam Noble Museum Youth Field Trip Scheduled

Pawhuska, Okla. (2/28/2018) – The Osage Office of the Chiefs, Osage Nation Museum (ONM), Osage Nation Prevention Program, Wahzhazhe Cultural Center and Osage Nation Child Care Department have organized a field trip for youth to attend the “Fluent Generations: The Art of Anita, Tom, and Yatika Fields” exhibition at the Sam Noble Museum in Norman, OK on April 7th, 2018.
