Pawhuska Johnson O’Malley parent committee plan to distribute school supplies

Students enrolled at Pawhuska Public schools begin classes on Wednesday, August 13, 2014. The Johnson O’Malley (JOM) parent committee plan to distribute school supplies at the elementary cafeteria on July 30th, July 31st, and August 1st from 3:15-7pm. Please bring copies of the student’s CDIB or tribal membership card.

Pawhuska JOM students that play sports for the school (7th grade and up) can also get their athletic physical done during this time, compliments of Acadia Health Clinic. This will save time and money for JOM athletes. Please plan on allowing extra time if a physical is needed.

The parent committee members volunteer their time to the JOM program in order to provide services for the Native American students at Pawhuska Public Schools. They are not compensated for working at JOM events or attending meetings. Without their efforts, the JOM program could not function efficiently.  Please support them with patience, understanding and cooperation.
