Overview

Osage Nation Energy Services, LLC (also referenced as ONES) is a limited liability company wholly owned by the Osage Nation, formed under the Osage Nation Limited Liability Companies Act. The company was established by resolution of the Executive Branch and the Osage Nation Congress. Formation of the LLC was authorized by approval of the Articles of Organization (ONCR 12-20) and the Articles of Operation (ONCR 12-26).

The Osage Nation originally sought to form limited liability companies within its jurisdiction as a way to further business opportunities and provide economic benefit. ONES is formed for just such a purpose, to investigate and implement energy related projects within Osage County to provide revenue and jobs to benefit the Osage Nation. This endeavor is meant to be a partnership with the Osage Nation with cooperative efforts between ONES, the Executive Branch, the Osage Congress, and departments within the government.

 

Company Description

ONES is commissioned to be a tribally-owned LLC in the oilfield services business, providing products and services to the local and regional pipeline and oilfield (exploration and drilling) industry.

The company:

  • serves upstream oil and gas partners by providing operational services throughout the full lifecycle of the oil field or pipeline project
  • primarily works in pipeline and drill site construction, services, and rehabilitation
  • provides supply and distribution for production and exploration partners by offering a full range of oilfield equipment and materials
  • seeks key relationships with business partners by utilizing the backing and resources of the Osage Nation

Board Members

Jill S. Jones
Board Chair/Business Development

Jill has 24 years of experience in the petroleum industry with a focus on information technology. Raised in Skiatook, she began her career at CITGO Petroleum in Tulsa where she held system analyst positions in petroleum refining, marketing, trading, and transportation. She later worked for Ernst & Young as a management consultant in their Energy & Utilities sector supporting clients on technical projects. For the past ten years, she has worked at ConocoPhillips in Bartlesville as a Consultant/Analyst, responsible for projects to support the petroleum upstream business. Ms. Jones is a direct descendant of two original Osage allottees, A. Scott Bradshaw and John H. Stevens, both great grandfathers on her mother's side.

C.E. “Chuck” Hessert
Board Vice-Chair

Chuck retired from ConocoPhillips in 2004, with over 30 years of experience in project management and quality assurance. During his career, he handled all phases of new construction from initial conception through successful startup and worked on a variety of internationally based projects. He is a direct descendant of two original Osage allottees, George Michelle, his great-grandfather, and Della Hessert, his grandmother. He also owns and operates the WAH-TSA-MOIE Angus Ranch and an independent oil and gas company called Hessert LOC Inc.

Randy Standridge
Board Secretary/Treasurer

Randy, who is Cherokee, retired from ConocoPhillips in 2010 after a 31-year career. His area of expertise includes procurement and warehousing operations for upstream and downstream energy organizations. He has extensive experience in contracts and negotiations. In 1996, he was asked to represent the downstream organizations on the prototype development for the Materials Management module of the SAP business system that Phillips Petroleum Company began working to implement worldwide. Thereafter, he worked as a project manager for various SAP projects around the globe, including implementations for 15 ConocoPhillips refineries.

 

Eddy Red Eagle, Jr.
Board Member

Eddy spent his career at CITGO Petroleum Corporation in Tulsa, holding positions in finance, accounting and supply/product logistics. After retirement, he continues to actively serve his Osage people and community, serving on various boards related to economic development and working for six years as a legislator for the Osage Nation Congress.  As a full blood member of the Osage Nation, he is very active in cultural and traditional customs. He is a speaker of the Osage Language and was instrumental in establishment of the Osage Cultural Center. He resides in Barnsdall on his family’s original allotment with his wife, Mattie, of fifty years.

Anthony Webb
Board Member

Anthony has over twenty eight years work experience. He has 14 years in the manufacturing and fluid power industries. He also has 14 years in petroleum related industries including pipeline construction, oil and gas well completion, and natural gas plant processing. He is currently responsible for the operations and management of the Grayhorse Gas Plant located in Osage County, Oklahoma. He is from Fairfax, Oklahoma where he is a member of the Osage Grayhorse District and a member of the Grayhorse Dance Committee. He currently resides with his wife, Kimberly Ponca, on their original family allotment land west of Fairfax.
